Steel Bridge SPEED Team
Design and construct a take-apart steel bridge that’s easy to build, relatively light, and able to withstand incredibly heavy loads in an annual competition sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
About Steel Bridge Team
As a team, we design, fabricate, build, and test a steel bridge for the purpose of competing against other schools in the annual AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition. For more information about the AISC steel bridge program.
Why Join?
Any Clarkson University student is welcome to join our team. We accept all majors due to the wide variety of work that can be done on the team. Students are also welcome from any year and major. Not only does joining a SPEED team look good on your resume, gives you hands-on experience it connects you to some of your closest friends!
